Every applicant goes through the same sequence. We don't shortcut it. We don't grandfather. The same standard applied to the first business applies to the latest.

A short, structured application — or an invitation to apply.
Every business starts the same way: a 3-step application at apply.fms.studio, or an invitation to apply. We capture the business, the services offered, the market served, and how the business wins and keeps clients.

Each application is scored on quality signals.
An AI review scores the application against the signals that predict a strong business — clarity and consistency of the offer, service focus, and fit for the leads we route. Weak or spam applications are filtered here.

03 · Decision
Accepted, waitlisted, or asked to revise.
Applicants are accepted, waitlisted, or asked to revise and resubmit. The bar is deliberately selective — the directory is only as useful as the businesses in it, so we grow only as fast as the bar allows.

04 · After every meeting
The people who book are asked how it went.
After a booked meeting, the visitor is invited to a short post-meeting survey, and the business reports the outcome of the meeting. A business's rating appears on its directory card only once enough completed surveys exist.

What ends an application early.

Some applications don't make it past review. These are the common reasons — they exist to keep the bar high for the businesses that do clear it.

What happens when you book a business.

Booking is free. Your booking goes only to the business you chose.

Things people ask about the bar.

Why is the bar selective — aren't more businesses better?

Not on their own. The directory is only as useful as the businesses in it, so every applicant goes through the same AI-scored review, and the network grows only as fast as the bar allows.

What does the AI-scored review look at?

The application itself: how clearly the business describes its offer, its service focus, its fit for the industry and market it applied for, and whether the application is complete and consistent.

Can an applicant who wasn't accepted reapply?

Yes. Applicants who are waitlisted or asked to revise can apply again, and a new application is reviewed from scratch.

Will other businesses contact me after I book?

Your booking goes only to the business you chose, and the details you enter are shared with that business.

What if the meeting doesn't go well?

After the meeting you are invited to a short post-meeting survey. Tell us there how it went.

Is there any cost to me?

No. Browsing, searching, and booking a consultation are free. Any work and payment is arranged directly between you and the business you choose.
